Project Scale:

Total construction area: 304,000 m²

Phase I comprises 3 cold storage buildings with a combined capacity of 219,000 tons.

Planned to expand to a total capacity of 460,000 tons, becoming the largest port-adjacent cold chain warehouse cluster and comprehensive logistics distribution base in China.

Strategically serving South China, the Pearl River Delta, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with Nansha International Logistics Center as the “Cold Chain Hub.”

Refrigeration System:

Utilizes an R717 (ammonia) / CO₂ cascade refrigeration system.

Equipment includes 24 refrigeration compressor units (ammonia and CO₂ screw compressors), 12 large evaporative condensers, 1,083 ceiling-mounted heat exchangers (cold air fans).

Materials & Installation:

Structural steel: approx. 600 tons

Piping: approx. 1,300 tons

Electrical cabling: approx. 320,000 meters

Total preparation and installation period: only 10 months

Project Highlights:

Largest single cold storage unit in Asia by capacity.

Integral to establishing a full-chain cold logistics network anchored by Nansha as the “cold chain mother port.”
